Paula Barrett- Irish Artist

ABOUT
Paula Barrett is an Irish artist currently living in Incheon, Korea. She graduated with a BA in Fine Art Media and History of Art from NCAD, Dublin in 2006 and later returned to complete the practice/theory MA on the Art in the Contemporary World course in 2010.

Her practice, which is conceptually driven rather than medium specific, predominantly explores the ideological frameworks through which people interact with and experience immersion in place. The relationship between artist, artwork and viewer is always an important consideration of her work, which tends to be open-ended and playful rather than dogmatic.

She has also worked on a number of collaborative projects with community groups around Ireland.
